This page is currently in development and testing.
While the role of media monitoring can provide some level of early detection, challenges may arise due to the reliability and credibility of sources. While many may be reasonably reliable and credible, others may be rumour and just noise. This page is intended to conduct broad sweeps of “what is being said” about certain topics. Building this awareness helps place other information into a broader context.
Ultimately, the current conditions page should be used for alerts and such as those sources of information are vetted for reliability and credibility.
